Doha, February 2015 - A delegation from the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCF/KHCC) has participated in the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), which took place in Doha, Qatar. The delegation was headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of KHCF; along with Dr. Asem Mansour, Director General of KHCC. The summit which was organized by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), was held under the patronage of its Chairperson, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.
During the event, HRH Princess Ghida Talal expressed her gratitude towards Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser for hosting KHCF/KHCC’s delegation and described WISH as one of the many pivotal regional and international initiatives spearheaded by Qatar.
Furthermore, HRH Princess Ghida Talal participated in a panel discussion entitled, Delivering Affordable Cancer Care, which offered practical recommendations that enable decision-makers to reduce costs and ensure that cancer patients receive sustainable and high-quality medical care.

I am delighted to share our experience as a leading entity within the region whose mission is to battle cancer and deliver high quality and affordable medical care,” commented HRH Princess Ghida Talal.
WISH is a prime international initiative aimed at promoting innovation in healthcare delivery across the world. The inaugural WISH event drew the participation of a host of government officials, business leaders, academics, doctors and non-profit organization representatives who discussed pressing global topics and challenges within this field.
