Amman, February 4, 2020 HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), launched a national cancer awareness campaign entitled "Keeping Up with the Challenge?” on the occasion of World Cancer Day, which is observed annually on February 4. A message on social media, Princess Ghida stated: "I urge you to join our life-saving mission to fight cancer. Get a mammogram, quit tobacco, and raise awareness, as one day of the year is not enough. We have to fight every single day."
The 2020 campaign comes as a continuation of last year’s “Still Up to the Challenge?” campaign and the 2018 “Up to the Challenge” campaign, with the goal of raising awareness and encouraging the community to engage in cancer prevention by adopting a healthy lifestyle.

The campaign focuses on five main approaches to prevention, including making nutritious food choices, exercising, refraining from smoking, undergoing early detection examinations, and joining the non-profit Cancer Care Program (CCP) for cancer coverage at KHCC.
