Amman, 30 May 2022 – HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), graduated 100 students from KHCF’s “Back-to-School” program. The program enabled its students, who are currently patients undergoing treatment at KHCC, to finish the 2021-2022 school year without interruption, despite the challenges of their medical condition.
The “Back-to-School” program had a successful year with many accomplishments, including providing 424 students with the opportunity to study and learn, and transferring 17 students to specialized learning centers with additional support for special needs. Additionally, it provided 69 students with laptops and 119 students with tablets, allowing them to continue their education online during their treatment. These accomplishments resulted from KHCF’s cooperation with the Ministry of Education, and with the support of Arab Bank, the official program sponsor.
The graduation ceremony was attended by, Miss Randa Sadik, CEO of Arab Bank, Dr. Asem H. Mansour, CEO & Director General of KHCC, and Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF.
