Amman, October 2018 - HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, signed a memorandum of understanding with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), under which KSRelief will donate USD 2 million to support the treatment of underprivileged patients at KHCC.
The signing ceremony was attended by a delegation from the KSRelief, chaired by HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor to Royal Court and General Supervisor of KSRelief, as well as Dr. Asem Mansour, KHCC Director General, and Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, KHCF Director General. The visit included a tour of the King Hussein Cancer Center new buildings and a briefing on the latest medical techniques adopted by the Center to provide comprehensive treatment for cancer patients from Jordan and the Arab world.
On this occasion, HRH Princess Ghida Talal said, "We are deeply grateful for the continued support provided to us by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We wish to express our sincere appreciation for the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, which believes in our mission to save the lives of cancer patients who cannot afford the cost of treatment."
