Amman, April 2018 - HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Institut Curie of Paris, France, to strengthen partnerships between the two institutions in various fields, such as expanding joint clinical research and technology transfer in therapeutic radiology and proton therapy, as well as benefiting from the expertise of Institut Curie, which is globally renowned for the treatment of rare cancers such as eye cancer.
The MoU was signed by Professor Thierry Philip, representing Institut Curie.
"Research and partnerships with some of the world's leading cancer institutes are an integral part of KHCC’s mission to provide the highest levels of holistic care for its patients," HRH Princess Ghida Talal stated.
The signing ceremony was attended by French Ambassador H.E. Mr. David Bertolotti, KHCC Director General Dr. Asem Mansour and KHCF Director General Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish.
