Dead Sea, April 2018 - Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development for the third year in a row to donate 1 million USD towards the treatment of underprivileged Syrian patients at KHCC.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by His Excellency Mr. Abdulwahab Ahmad Al-Bader, Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
HRH Princess Ghida expressed her gratitude for Kuwait’s continued support of cancer patients at KHCC, saying: "The support of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development has helped save the lives of many Syrian patients who would not be able to afford treatment otherwise. As a result of their generosity, KHCC has been able to treat 74 patients so far, including 26 children.”
The signing ceremony was attended by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, KHCF Director General.
